Judith
Kaye, JD (Judy) is the President of JKTC and serves
as lead consultant/trainer on all projects. She has
designed and conducted hundreds of workshops on diversity
and related topics, and has extensive experience in
business, government, education, and non-profit organizations
of all sizes.
Judy has been praised by program participants for her
knowledge, enthusiasm, and authenticity, as well as
for her skill in managing group dynamics. She is a graduate
of Brown University and Harvard Law School, and speaks
Spanish fluently. Prior to founding JKTC in 1993, Judy
practiced law for 10 years, specializing in housing
issues that affect low-income families and individuals.
Judy has successfully completed certified train-the-trainer
programs on Preventing Discrimination and Harassment
in the Workplace, sponsored by the Massachusetts
Commission Against Discrimination and Massachusetts
Continuing Legal Education. She received additional
training at the National MultiCultural Institute, the
National Coalition-Building Institute, the Public Conversations
Project, and the Anti-Defamation Leagues A WORLD
OF DIFFERENCE Institute (AWOD). She served as a leading
AWOD diversity workshop facilitator for many years.
From 1983-1990, Ms. Kaye sang, toured, and made recordings
with Libana, an internationally-know womens world
music ensemble. She has organized several local dialogue
groups in her community on racism, and on Black-Jewish
and Arab-Jewish relations, and served as a Committee
Chair of the RI Governors Summit on Diversity.
